CONDITIONS OF HIRE OF WARSOP PARISH CENTRE

A Non-Smoking Policy operates throughout the Parish Centre. A Smoking Area is situated near to The Stable Barn

The Parish Centre is a very old building therefore nails, drawing pins, staples etc. are not to be fixed into the stonework or woodwork.

In accordance with Health and Safety Regulations, Fireworks and Bouncy Castles are not allowed to be used in the Parish Centre, or its’ surroundings.

USE OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

Please note that ALL electrical equipment must have a current PAT Certificate.

BAR FACILITIES

Licensed Bar Facilities are not provided automatically with every letting and should be booked at the time of room booking.  The charge for the bar is £25.

Anyone bringing wine or sherry for use in their toast will be charged a corkage fee of £2.00 per bottle, payable to the Bar Manager.

NO other alcohol must be brought onto the premises by the applicant or their guests, who must purchase ALL drinks from the bar provided.

If the Bar Manager is not providing the wine/sherry for the toast, a fee of £5.00 per box is payable for glass hire.

The Bar can be opened at any time during normal licensing hours, in negotiation with the Licensee.

The Bar MUST close at 2300 hours, and all guests to have vacated the premises by 2330 hours.

No music is allowed after 2300 hours.

CATERERS

If Outside Caterers need to arrive early to prepare, they must contact the Parish Administrator 7 days in advance to make necessary arrangements and extra hours must be paid for at this time.  Outside Caterers must hold the Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and their own Public Liability Insurance.  The Applicant is responsible for checking this information.  The PCC will not be held responsible for any food brought onto the premises or prepared by outside caterers.

Due to Food Hygiene Regulations, buffet food should be covered and must not be displayed for longer than two hours.

Caterers must ensure that the Kitchens are left clean and tidy on leaving and all excess food disposed of.

The Applicant is required to leave the premises in the state of cleanliness in which they were found.  Failure to comply with this request may result in the applicant losing the £75.00 bond.  Furniture may not be removed from the room.  All breakages and damages must be reported to the Bar Manager if available or the Parish Administrator.

INSURANCE

The Applicant is responsible for any damage done to the Parish Centre by their guests or by themselves.  The Applicant will indemnify the Parish Centre for any such damage.  The PCC reserves the right to appoint a contractor to repair the said damage.

No goods should be left on the premises without prior permission.  All personal items (food, gifts, decorations, chair covers, table cloths, musical/electrical equipment etc.) must be taken on the night of the function.  The Parish Centre Committee will not be held responsible for any gifts/presents/equipment being left.
